Community involvement is critical to our success. We are actively recruiting volunteers to join our volunteer crews:

Haw River TrailBlazers Work Crew

Haw River TrailBlazers Work Crew:

The TrailBlazers are working to build the HRT from the ground up. TrailBlazers clear trails, build bridges and steps and help install signage. We welcome newcomers at our workdays and provide the tools and equipment you need.

Our next workday is:
October 3, 2009 at Glencoe Paddle Access

If you would like to sign up, please call (336) 229-2229 or email chris.clark@alamance-nc.com

Haw River Trail Patrol:

Volunteers visit thier sites on a weekly or bi-weekly basis and send a brief email report to alert us to maintenance or enforcement needs. PatrolVolunteers are needed for both the land trail and paddle trail- if you would like to help call (336) 229-2229 or email chris.clark@alamance-nc.com.
