Fishing Resources

You can enjoy fishing from any of the Haw River Paddle Trail’s 14 Paddle Accesses, or straight from your kayak or canoe. With beautiful scenery and plenty of boulders and log snags providing good fishing spots, you’re sure to enjoy your day angling on the Haw. Catch a variety of fish including channel catfish, bream, largemouth bass, sunfish, and even the occasional bowfin.
